Another lazy 📪💸 month!
I got two new v3 render machines 95% set up with my new renderer in August and finished the last 5% just before writing this post.
It took maybe 2-3 hours total to do both in parallel.
I'll disable the last two v2 render boxes later this week and see how the three v3 boxes handle the full load.
The v3 system is way faster than v2 and August ran entirely on one v3 box and two v2 boxes, so I don't foresee any issues (plus will save $120/mo!).
The v2 render system's best months had a total queue/render time of ~2:30.
At more than 50k videos/month they got overloaded and flaky (which led to geo-ip rejection and the v3 rebuild).
August: ~75k videos with my best queue/render time since I started measuring (1:35).

Swapped a few emails with some potential buyers, but I think I answered too many questions with:
"I don't know" or "I'm lazy"
